New Event for Billiards set for November

A new Billiards event – open to players between the ages of 21 to 35 – will be staged this year.

Organized and sponsored by MegaSportsWorld (MSW), the No. 1 Sportsbook in the Philippines, the event to be called “MSW Rising Stars” will highlight the growing young talent that the Philippines has to offer and more importantly, and hopefully, “discover” players capable of competing at the highest level.

“We are 100% behind the Sharks Billiards Association (SBA) and their stated mandate of growing the sports of billiards throughout the Philippines and fostering individual player talent.” Said Jeff Mann, Managing Director, MSW.

“There are numerous billiards tournaments throughout the year open to all including excellent junior events but we wanted a restricted event targeting players between the ages of 21-35 based on the well-established premise that good young players mature into great players between these ages. We know that the Philippines has truly talented players with that special winning X factor… we just have to find them.”, added Mann.
